Are your Yoga Teacher Training Programs approved by the Yoga Alliance?
Yes. You will be eligible to submit your paperwork to the Yoga Alliance to be approved as an RYT (registered yoga teacher) at the 200 hour level.
What is the Yoga Alliance?
The Yoga Alliance is a credentialing organization established in 1999 which sets standards for yoga teachers and yoga teacher trainings. It is not required by law to be approved by the Yoga Alliance in order to teach yoga, but many studios and potential employers look for this registration mark.
Will I be qualified to teach once I complete your Yoga Teacher Training Certification Program?
Yes. In the 200 hour Art of Yoga Training Program we focus on how to teach as much as on mastering the material. After graduating at the 200 hour level you will be eligible to submit your paperwork to the Yoga Alliance to be approved as an RYT (registered yoga teacher) at the 200 hour level.
What is your Cancelation Policy?
Refund requests will only be considered up to 30 days prior to the start of the training dates, less a 25% processing fee. After 30 days from the start of the training no refunds will be issued. Once the program begins the training tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable.
* If for any reason the training dates are rescheduled by The Art of Yoga School, you will have the option to choose between a full refund or to put your paid balance towards a future training module.
What is Included in the tuition cost?
Included in the tuition is the Yoga Teacher Training Certification Program with over 180 contact hours. We have priced this training in such a way to make it affordable with out sacrificing quality.
What are your requirements for signing up for the 200 Hour Training?
We require that you have a minimum of 6 months of a consistent yoga practice before enrolling in our teacher training program. We want to make sure that trainees have a basic foundation in the primary yoga postures before learning how to teach. Please be aware that most days include 2-3 hours of Asana Practice.
