July Weather:
Sunny! Highs in the 70s, lows in the 40s at night.
This trip is for those with moderate ability. There will be time for those who wish to do longer hikes up Pisac and Ollantaytambo ruins. Otherwise the terrain is easy to moderate. The big factor here is actually with the elevation which can make any type of walking challenging even for those in great health.
$550 Non-refundable deposit per person to signup via email
If you can, plan to arrive one night early to stay in Lima before catching a flight to Cusco, and adding on one or two nights in Cusco for the end of your trip.

The Sacred Valley, considered to be one of the most energetically powerful places on earth, is where we will be staying.
FOUR nights at Ollantaytambo Hotel
The first four nights will be spent in a historic and charming hotel, located next to the Ollantaytambo train station (about an hour train ride away from Machu Picchu and 1.5 hour drive from the city of Cusco). Attached to a large organic farm and spirits distillery, this truly special hotel has its own small cafe for craft coffee or a wonderful cocktail or dessert to end the evening. From here we will walk to the local ruins, and will be just one train stop away from Machu Picchu. Organic breakfast is served each morning (included in trip), and we will eat our dinner here at least two nights. In this town we will explore the Ollantaytambo ruins, enjoy shopping in town, gather for yoga in the gardens, and be treated to a Pachamama Lunch and Farm Tour (pictures of hotel below). On our fourth day we will do a full day tour to Moray and the Maras Salt Mines, followed by free time for dinner and relaxing when we get back to the hotel.
You will fly from Lima into Cusco then head straight to the Sacred Valley to our Ollantaytambo Hotel together to avoid altitude sickness. Cusco sits at a towering altitude of 11,152 ft. (3,400 m), whereas the villages of the Sacred Valley of the Incas have a lower altitude closer to 9,000 ft. (2,743)
3 Nights outside of Urubamba
After our first four nights in Ollantaytambo, we will travel one hour to spend our final 3 nights at a luxurious and intimate hotel (12 rooms total).
For these last 3 nights we will enjoy massages on-site (one included for each person), have a group bonfire with smores, practice yoga and mediation in the gardens, and eat wonderful food. Our excursions for these days will be the Pisac Ruins + Shopping in the village, and on our final day together an easy trip to the Sirenachayoc Falls and possibly shopping in Urubamba.
Photos above - Our Sacred Valley hotel is surrounded by awe inspiring landscapes and gardens, encouraging us to relax and restore while exploring the nearby ruins and villages during the daytime, and enjoying yoga or meditation with Singer in the gardens during free time.
Trip cost includes:

Have a few extra days to spend in Peru?
Enjoy the street art and food scene by spending 2 or 3 nights in Lima before flying to Cusco for this trip in the Sacred Valley. Most flights into Lima arrive at night, so plan on an overnight stay eitherway before flying to Cusco.
After our week in the sacred valley have us drop you off in Cusco (many great hotels and airbnbs) before flying back to Lima to make your way home. Most hotels will be able to arrange transport back to the airport for you.
Since the elevation in Cusco is higher than the sacred valley, you will be much more acclimated to the elevation to enjoy Cusco by the end of our week together.
PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY:

The $550 deposit is non-refundable even if the trip is canceled or rescheduled due to unforeseen reasons (including travel bans, safety, weather, global health concerns). If for any reason a trip is canceled, you will however be able to transfer your $550 deposit to a future trip with Singer within 1 year.
